| Switzerland's Fabienne Suter took the final super-g race on the Stelvio course in Bormio. Suter clocked a time of one minute, 19.48 seconds,Lindsey Vonn of the United States was second in 1:19.74, and Alexandra Meissnitzer of Austria was third in 1:19.85. Germany's Maria Riesch took sixth to clinch the super-g crown. She's now the only one who can challenge Vonn for the overall title but, with only two races remaining and a gap of 197 points, German must win Friday's slalom and Saturday's giant slalom and hope the american gets no points in both races. |
