[ 09/03/2008] - Moelgg finally grabs his first World Cup win
After a good series of podium placements and 50 world cup slalom races, Italy's Manfred Moelgg finally could celebrate his first World Cup win ever on Sunday in Kranjska Gora. He was first 0.41 seconds ahead of Croatia's Ivica Kostelic with Austria's Marcel Hirscher third at 0.49. Benni Raich had to say goodbye to his overall hopes: having missed a gate in the first run he could not take good advantage of Miller's decision to skip Sunday's race due to a slight back pain.
